Time Well Spent

Amazing. That's only word that comes to mind when I think back two years ago when I started this journey. I wish you all well as you continue in your journey to be the change that sparks the change. I am sure many of you will continue on to the Doctoral program and God bless. Hopefully I will see familiar faces as I too continue this amazing journey called Early Childhood Education.

  1. Congratulations on your accomplishments! We did it!! I am sure just like me--this was a hard and at times difficult journey but we made it. It has been stated “that planning should begin with foreseeing the future and taking note of the past” (Vicars, 2008, pg.53). Take time to celebrate your victories and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

  4. Patricia,
Congratulations!! Yes we did it. I hope you all the best in your future. I have not decided whether or not I will continue on to the Doctorate program as of yet but I wish you good luck on your journey. I think I need some time to recuperate from the Masters program first.
I love your statement about being the change that sparks the change. This is a statement that really makes a person think about how much change really does need to be sparked. Many people do not like change and even cringe at the thought of change. In the field of early education we need to be flexible and be able to support change because the only thing that we are guaranteed is that there will be change.

  5. Bless each of you that continues to the Doctoral program, I am done for now. I truly enjoyed the courses (most of them) and am refreshed and inspired to move forward to make change in my community.
